Lump removals
Depending on the type of lump, we may recommend taking a biopsy before surgery or sending the removed tissue to an external laboratory for analysis. This helps us determine whether the lump is benign or malignant and ensures your pet receives the most appropriate treatment.
Early assessment and treatment are important, particularly if a lump is growing, changing shape or causing discomfort.
What to expect
Throughout the procedure, your pet will be closely monitored using modern anaesthetic equipment, with pain relief provided before, during and after surgery to keep them as comfortable as possible during recovery.
